The Golden Retriever Clubs provide a service to help find new homes for Golden Retrievers who due to many various circumstances cannot remain with their owners. The Clubs only interest is that the dog is assessed and placed in the best possible forever home. I am also a member of the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland the Golden Retriever Club and the Scottish Kennel Club. Established in 1946 the primary object of the Club is to encourage the breeding and type of Golden Retriever as laid down in the Breed Standard.
